Automotive Locksmith Key Programming
Modern vehicles require some form of key programmer programming. Depending on your vehicle's model and make the process could be as simple as using an extra mobile key programmer to programme the computer onboard, or as complex as OBD2 programming or EEPROM.
Most US and Asian reprogram car key manufacturers use the same programming protocols as auto tool makers so that they can develop hardware and software for automotive locksmiths to use.

The majority of newer cars have transponder chips to stop car theft. These are microchips in the form of computers which emit radio signals of low-level. They are equipped with program a key unique digital serial number that authenticates the key to your car when it is plugged into the ignition barrel.
