World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The Best item upgrader upgrade is an enchantment which increases the stats of a specific armor or weapons. This includes tertiary statistics like Leech and Speed.

Universal upgrades can be applied to any type of equipment, and offer smaller bonuses compared to other components that are specific to the kind of equipment.
Leveling
The upgrade system allows players to enhance items by increasing their level. The Best item upgrader's "guaranteed bonuses" are also enhanced by the level increase. Each level upgrade increases the stats of the item upgrader by +3 and adds an extra bonus based on the level of the item. These extras range from a +3 to a +1 bonus to random buffs.
Each item level upgrade can be upgraded for a specific number of times. After an upgrade, the item can still be upgraded to a higher-tiered product of equal or greater value.
