What is an Upgrade item upgrader in Genshin Impact?
Upgrade items are a particular type of item upgrades that can ensure that Pokemon evolve. They are obtained by spinning Pokestop photo discs and occasionally as rewards during events related to evolution.
They can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools to give additional stats or effects. Some upgrades can have a decorative effect.

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons or trinkets to give an additional bonus or Best Item upgrade effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained as rewards, or even dropped. Upgrade components must be higher leveled than the item upgrader they will be added to. They also require that the item upgrades have an upgrade slot. Upgrade components can be swapped out with other upgrade components, with the exception of for inscriptions or glyphs, which can only be removed or added.
