Alex the African Grey Parrot

What is Alex?

However, over the course of his life, he led trails in animal psychology that were above anything that was thought to be possible. He also proved that animals can be as intelligent as dolphins or primates. Alex was one of the most talked about talking birds in the world, until his death in 2007. He appeared on television shows and in scientific reports.
Alex was able to recognize colors, shapes and materials as well as the sizes of objects.
