The Ghost 2 immobiliser, designed to guard cars against hacking or key cloning, is a small device that can be installed without damaging your vehicle. It will not allow you to start your car unless you have entered the correct sequence of buttons in your vehicle. This is similar to a mobile password.
Stop/Start
Ghost Immobilisers protect vehicles from being stolen by stopping the engine from running until it has the correct PIN code. This is accomplished without altering the vehicle, and is largely undetectable by thieves. The unit communicates with the ECU via the CAN data bus to disable the vehicle. This system is similar to that used by car ghost immobiliser manufacturers for many years. However, thieves cannot overcome it using a brand new key or key relay technology, as they can with factory-installed systems.
