Espag Handle
Espag handles are the most common design of handle used on upvc windows (they're often found in timber and aluminium door handle too). The handles have a square spindle which extends from the back of the handle and locks into the multi-point locking mechanism that is on the window. The handle is used to control the locking mechanism that is attached to the window.
Window sliding door handles made of Espag are available in many different styles and functions. Some have a push button for a locked closed position and key-locking. (And fire-escape nonlocking if required.
