The glaucous Macaw is one of the rarest birds on earth. It is considered Critically Endangered, and may be extinct in the wild.
This bird has been reported by aviculturists from various countries however the most recent sighting was in 1992. The alleged sighting was reported to be in southwest Paraguay near the city Corrientes. The bird was male.
Origin
The Glaucous hyacinth macaw cost is a threatened Hyacinth Parrot Price species native to South America. This magnificent bird features a distinctive blue feather pattern as well as a powerful beak that is capable of breaking open tough seeds and nuts. Glaucous Macaws live in monogamous pairs and both parents tend the chicks. They feed their chicks regurgitated food for the first couple of weeks after birth, and later they begin eating solid food as they grow. Parents are also responsible for teaching young macaws to fly and hunt.
The glaucous buy macaw parrot has gone extinct, yet rumors of its existence continue to circulate across the globe.
