While robot vacuums cut down on the need for regular, full-blown sweeping, they can't substitute for traditional plug-in models. Keeping them in top shape requires emptying the dust bin after each cleaning session, wiping the cameras and sensors occasionally, and replacing filters and side brushes as required.
It has a decent-sized bin and an auto-empty. However, its obstacle avoidance gets tangled up in cords and socks, and it is unable to detect dirt near baseboards.

The Roomba 694 robot vacuum is an entry-level floor robot robotic vacuum cleaners that has dual roller brushes (one bristle, the other rubber) to pick up dust, dirt and other debris from flooring that is not bare. The Roomba 694 also includes a rotating brush that is able to clean up debris from corners and wall edges. The Roomba 694 does an excellent job of removing pet hair. However, it could leave a few hairs in carpet fibers after multiple cleaning cycles.
