The category A1 licence permits the operation of motorcycles with power outputs of up to 35kW. This category also includes motor tricycles. It is available to people older than 24 who have completed compulsory basic training (CBT) and passed a test on theory.
This category also includes mopeds that have a maximum power output of 125cc, or Kursant Prawo jazdy A1 11kW. This is also referred to as the AM.
Light motorbikes
Light motorbikes have a power output of 11kW, and are generally smaller than 125cc. They are perfect for beginners who are looking to take their first steps into the world motorcycling.
